• BLUR THE LINE BETWEEN INDOOR AND OUTDOOR SPACE
Kitchen serves outdoor grill terrace with accordian windows that open to eating bar. Dining room table is on salvaged iron wheels to roll out to screen porch for outdoor dining.

Kid fun, program location based on solar orientation, group spaces and private retreats.
• KEEP SF DOWN
Mimimize dedicated circulation space. Stair doubles as library with extra wide treads and a mid flight landing for room for books and browsing. Library from basement to roof has a 4” gap to stairs allowing light from skylights to penetrate down to basement. Back of bookcase is the MEP chase.
